RRCCV 2020 is an International Virtual Robotics Competition based in Calgary, Canada.
The competition is organized by Maplebots Robotics in collaboration with RoboRAVE international.
In RRCCV 2020 participants have the opportunity to design, build and program physical robots or program simulated robots using STEM approach and Computational Thinking. We focus in Teamwork and learning in a Fun Environment .The event for the year 2020 will be performed in a virtual way due to the COVID19 pandemic thinking in the well-being of all the participants.
If you have a Robot in ANY platform you can compete in :
- FastBot Challenge-Line Following ChallengeIf you don't have a physical robot you can compete in a Simulator using the RoboSensei platform in :
- Virtual FastBot Challenge-Virtual Line Following Challenge
- Virtual a-MAZE-ing Challenge Also you can participate presenting a short video describing a Technological project in:
- Iq Innovative Robot
Each participant will program his/her robot and will print and setup the playfield at home and will adapt a place to demonstrate the challenge according to the rules.The competitor will connect to the virtual videoconference platform according to the schedule (data for connectivity will be sent to the registered email)
Each category of the tournament will have 2 rounds to compete. In each round all robots will present the challenge and the judges will registered their times.When the two rounds finish the best scores will get the awards, there won't be any playoffs in this opportunity.
The event will be broadcasted live in Social Media.
Using the RoboSensei platform program a robot capable of completing a maze in 2 minutes or less. The faster you can complete this tasks increases your overall score .Rules
Using the RoboSensei platform code your robot to follow the line to the tower and return back to home. Rules
Using the RoboSensei platform code your robot to complete TWO laps (Elementary ), THREE laps (Middle) and FIVE laps (High School and UP) as fast as possible. Rules
An autonomous robot must follow a line on a track and complete the loop the required number of times as quickly as possible. Fastest team in age category wins. Rules
An autonomous robot must follow a line to a tower, stop, deliver 1 ping pong ball, and return to home. after this the robot can deliver additional balls for bonus points. Rules
This challenge will be submitted via a brief video, the score will correspond to judges grading and social media likes by the participant public.The participant will present an innovative technology product that customers will want to buy! Rules
